The Opportunity
This newly created executive role represents a rare opportunity to lead the business development function for a high-performing, values-driven organisation. As Chief Development Officer (CDO), you will be responsible for the retention, growth, and optimisation of a national portfolio.
You will lead a team of 18–20 through four direct reports, working closely with the GM of Development and reporting directly to the CEO. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role that sits on the Executive Leadership Team and plays a critical part in shaping and executing the company’s refreshed national strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead national business development strategy across both the Parking and Enforcement portfolios.
- Retain and protect existing lease inventory while identifying and securing new opportunities.
- Optimise current assets through integrated service offerings and commercial innovation.
- Structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements with landlords and partners.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Represent the business at board and shareholder meetings, contributing to strategic direction.
About You
You are a seasoned executive with a strong background in property, infrastructure, or commercial leasing. You bring a proven track record in business development, deal structuring, and team leadership. You are commercially astute, results-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. Importantly, you are values-aligned, hands-on, and capable of balancing strategic oversight with operational detail.
