- New role, with strong levels of support
- Significant room to utilise your initiative
- Successful commercial enterprise
With one of the most successful and recognisable brands that operates across the Retirement Home sector, Summerset is constantly striving to improve their offerings/care.
This is a newly created role within the Operations Business Team, with a specific focus on supporting the Head of Clinical and Clinical Services Division. As a result, it is a unique opportunity for someone to own and develop the role as they see most appropriate in order to best deliver what is needed for that Team.
Summerset has robust systems and processes in place. Rather than developing these, this role is about utilising them to best effect to provide broad administrative support, including extensive meeting management and document control aspects. High level of capability utilising the MS Suite is non-negotiable.
While having those existing strong structures, Summerset as a whole operates within a highly reactive environment, especially the Clinical team, as is the nature of their work. This person must be unfazed by a continually changing landscape, being able to multi-task and prioritise to deliver what is required. Having an Agile mindset is critical.
A key aspect of this role, is to remove the Head of Clinical as much as possible from the “daily chaos,” allowing her to operate at a more strategic level. A key element of this will be assisting with the development and formatting of Board reports. The successful candidates will have technical writing and editing skills and a real eye for detail.
While not critical, experience in the medical/clinical environment would be beneficial to hit the ground running with an understanding of the unique “language” in that environment.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
