This is a key leadership role for Summerset, leading and managing the very core of their service offerings, to ensure they remain at the forefront of the ongoing development and delivery of superior care to their residents.

You will be responsible for ensuring all villages in your portfolio operate efficiently, effectively and profitably from a ‘whole of business’ perspective, for the benefit of Summerset and their resident’s. With a team of highly capable Village Managers, you will utilise your superior leadership skills to ensure they are all best placed to provide the highest standard of care. You and your team will be backed by an organisation that sees quality of resident lifestyle and a Continuum of Care as an absolute priority.

While experience working across a clinical/aged care environment would be highly advantageous, you will be a results focused leader with previous experience developing and leading high-performance teams, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement in delivering results.

However, those outcomes will be driven by a genuine passion for helping to create an enjoyable lifestyle for the elderly.

The position will be based in Christchurch, supporting their Southern villages in both Christchurch and Nelson. This role involves travel across a portfolio of initially five villages which, due to the growth, will increase over the next few years. You will also be responsible for liaising with the development and construction teams over new sites in Canterbury and Blenheim, which will become part of your portfolio in due course.
