This is a new role managing a small team responsible for driving critical People and Culture OD initiatives in an organisation that has grown consistently to become one of the country’s largest and most respected operators in the retirement village and aged care sector.
Reporting to the General Manager People and Culture, you have a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the great work already underway in the OD space and as such continue to enhance the culture of the company. Working alongside key internal stakeholders, your focus will initially be centered around mental health and wellbeing, change management (providing key strategic OD advice to a significant change programme), talent management, succession planning alongside enhancing the employee experience. Top all this off with the development of workforce analytics.
To be considered for this role, you will bring proven experience leading an OD function ideally within a large and complex organisation. Back this up with a proven ability to take a commercial lens to the role and success in helping take an organisation to a new level through the people initiatives that you will own and deliver on, in an environment that has complex and ever developing stakeholder demands.
You will be able to demonstrate experience and understanding of best practice approaches and innovative thinking. You will take an organisational wide perspective and approach, collaborating internally and externally to achieve desired culture and outcomes. Through taking ownership of the organisation’s OD frameworks, you will be able to take both employee and customer-centric views in meeting complex and changing stakeholder demands.
In summary, the role requires an experienced OD professional who can bring thought leadership that optimises performance and drives value.
