Te Tai Ōhanga – The Treasury is the New Zealand Government’s lead economic and financial advisor and its vision is to lift living standards for all New Zealanders.
Reporting to the Deputy Secretary, Strategy and Performance Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Director OSP will have overall responsibility for developing and supporting Treasury’s organisational strategy, planning and performance and organisational change.
This role will influence and bring fresh thinking on the systems, processes and support for effective planning and coordination of the various work programmes across the Treasury.
As Director, you will bring:
- senior level experience managing governance support functions and organisational strategy development;
- exceptional functional management of people, resources, systems and processes;
- credible communication and engagement skills;
- an ability to build organisational capability;
- in-depth analytical skills relating to complex issues in a changing and ambiguous environment;
- experience gained in the public sector and be well-networked; and
- an understanding of te ao Māori and the principles of Te Tiriti.
